Neo for Neoprene. Neoprene is a soft rubber material that is used in wetsuits, and its reinforced with nylon webbing for added strength and durability. It makes a great waterproof dog collar and is available in a variety of fun colors from pink camo to solid black.
The neoprene material feels almost like a soft wetsuit against my hand, so no more chafing on our daily walks. The nylon webbing reinforcement gives me confidence it won’t snap when my dog pulls at a squirrel.
My lab mix swims every single day and this collar has been through it all without a hint of odor or wear. The neoprene padding is a lifesaver on her neck compared to her old canvas one.
